Diversions
Due in just over a week: one website, one thesaurus, one-quarter of a group project, and one reflection paper on the various lessons learned from doing the group project. Am I a tad stressed out? Yes, indeed! Am I going to be very happy when I’m no longer juggling work and classes and can have a life again? You bet!
However, I have the following to distract me:
- Battlestar Galactica: Razor, which I missed but which a colleague (who’s probably reading this: thank you again!) taped for me
- an all-Scarlatti concert by Tempesta di Mare on Saturday
- at some point, the Golden Compass movie, though it’s only playing at the hard-to-get-to-on-SEPTA theater
- the prospect of a Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab swap meet over winter break
- the sweater project, which is actually in progress, using a dark-purple aran yarn
And there’s always my time-honored mantra: only two weeks until the end of term, only two weeks until the end of term…
I’m having a similar week so I definitely sympathize. You will make it, and remember–after this semester you’re only one semester away from no-grad-school-ever-again-in-your-entire-life!
GC seems to be coming to the Bridge on Friday–easy trip on the Market Frankford line or on any westerly Walnut St. bus. Call me if you need a viewing companion.
Wow, so it is! There for a while Fandango was saying it was only at the Riverview. I may take you up on your offer if the weekend doesn’t get too crazy.
